This software application is for a label applicator used in production of mobile phone PCB's, utilising Omron's CX Programmer and Trio's Motion Perfect. The application requires an end effecter to pick up a small label, which is passed over a vision system. The vision system calculates the position offsets of X, Y and Ø. A four-axis motion controller will correct this offset and place the label on to a Printed Circuit Board. Equipment – Omron's C200HW ISA PC01 PLC, which is mounted to the ISA slot in a PC. Omron's F150 Vision System linked to the PLC via Devise NET and Omron's MC402 Motion Control Card to control the four axis of motion.
