This software application is for the automotive market, heat-treatment and adhesive spraying to Brake Pads using Siemens Simatic S7 and Pro-Tool. The application involved two lines, which could be run individually or together. Each line is controlled via an S7 CPU 315 DP2 with OP3 HMI's for manual functionality and fault diagnostic. The two CPU were linked together via Profi-Bus to an OP17 for master control. The OP17 functionality includes Recipe Handling, Fault Diagnostics and Current Line Status.
